Custom Order Terms

Effective Date: September 7, 2026 | Personalized, made-to-order, and customer-supplied products

These Custom Order Terms apply to personalized, engraved, printed, fabricated, assembled, finished, or otherwise made-to-order products supplied by Ironsight Customs LLC. They supplement the Terms and Conditions, Returns Policy, Shipping and Pickup Policy, applicable quote or invoice, and any approved proof.

Quotes and Order Requirements

Quotes are valid for 90 days unless otherwise stated. A quote is based on the information, quantities, materials, artwork, dimensions, and deadline available when it is issued. Changes to those details may require a revised quote.

Payment is required before production begins. Large custom pieces and bulk orders may require a deposit and payment schedule stated on the quote or invoice. Production does not begin until Ironsight Customs has received all required payment, usable artwork, customer-supplied items, specifications, and approvals.

Proofs and Approval

When a proof is provided, the customer must review it carefully. Approval confirms acceptance of:

  • Spelling, grammar, names, dates, numbers, and wording.
  • Artwork, logo, and photograph selection.
  • Product type, material, color, size, quantity, and configuration.
  • Design placement, orientation, dimensions, and general proportions.
  • Other specifications shown or described in the proof, quote, or invoice.

Ironsight Customs is not responsible for an error that appeared in an approved proof or in customer-supplied information and was reproduced as approved. A digital proof is a production guide, not an exact color or material guarantee.

Changes and Cancellations

Customers may request changes without an additional charge before production begins, provided the changes are reasonably within the original scope. Ironsight Customs may revise the price or timeline if a request materially changes the design, product, materials, quantity, or labor required.

Once production begins, the order cannot be canceled. A change requested after production begins may be refused or may require an additional charge for labor, replacement materials, outside services, or remaking completed work. No change is effective until Ironsight Customs confirms it in writing.

Customer-Supplied Artwork and Content

The customer represents that they own or have permission to reproduce all supplied artwork, logos, photographs, names, likenesses, trademarks, text, and other content. The customer authorizes Ironsight Customs to format, resize, convert, trace, crop, and otherwise adapt the content as reasonably necessary to produce the order.

Ironsight Customs may refuse any requested content and is not required to determine whether the customer actually owns or has permission to use it. The customer remains responsible for third-party claims arising from customer-supplied content.

Ironsight Customs will not publicly use a customer's private photographs, personal information, or confidential artwork for unrelated marketing without permission. Permission to display completed work may be requested separately, and declining permission will not affect the order.

Customer-Supplied Products and Materials

Ironsight Customs may accept customer-supplied shirts, hats, drinkware, wood, accessories, or other property for customization at its discretion. Laser engraving, heat pressing, printing, cutting, coating removal, finishing, and similar processes involve heat, pressure, adhesives, chemicals, tools, and equipment and therefore carry a risk of permanent damage.

The customer accepts the ordinary production risk associated with customer-supplied property, including concealed defects, unknown coatings, inconsistent materials, prior damage, manufacturer defects, and unexpected reactions to heat or processing. Customers should not submit sentimental, collectible, rare, discontinued, or irreplaceable property.

If Ironsight Customs physically damages customer-supplied property through its production error, Ironsight Customs may repair the item, replace it with a reasonably comparable item, or reimburse its reasonable replacement value. Liability does not include sentimental value, collectible value, lost profits, business interruption, or the cost of an entire matched set unless required by law. Proof of purchase or reasonable evidence of market value may be required.

Natural and Production Variations

The following reasonable variations are inherent in custom and handmade work and are not defects:

  • Wood grain, knots, texture, color, moisture patterns, and stain absorption.
  • Minor variations in engraving color, depth, contrast, burn marks, or edge appearance.
  • Minor differences in print color, garment color, hat construction, or product finish between batches.
  • Reasonable placement, alignment, dimension, and registration tolerances.
  • Differences between a digital display, mockup, sample, and the completed physical product.

A material or product substitution that would materially change the order will be submitted for customer approval when reasonably practicable.

Bulk Orders

Bulk orders may require additional production time, staged payments, material substitutions, quantity tolerances, or outside production partners. Any material quantity tolerance or substitution must be stated in the quote, invoice, or proof. The customer is responsible for confirming quantities, sizes, names, and allocation details before approval.

Production Schedule

Most custom orders require approximately one to two weeks after all production requirements are satisfied. Large pieces, bulk orders, special-order products, and complex work may take longer. Customer delays in providing payment, property, information, artwork, or approval extend the schedule. Any legally required delay notice, cancellation option, or refund right remains unaffected.

Care and Use

Customers must follow any care instructions supplied with the product. Damage caused by improper washing, cleaning, dishwashing, heat, moisture, chemicals, weather exposure, impact, misuse, modification, or failure to follow instructions is not a defect. Unless expressly represented otherwise, decorative products are not certified for structural, safety-critical, medical, food-storage, child-safety, or protective use.

Inspection, Claims, and Remedies

The customer should inspect the order promptly. Damage, defects, or production errors must be reported to returns@ironsighthq.com within seven calendar days after delivery or pickup. The request must include the customer's first and last name, order email address, phone number, order number, description of the issue, and clear photographs.

The item must be returned before a repair, replacement, or refund is completed unless Ironsight Customs waives return in writing. Ironsight Customs pays approved return shipping for a damaged, defective, or incorrectly made item and reserves the right to inspect, repair, or replace it before issuing a refund. Repair requests outside the reporting period may be considered case by case but are not guaranteed.
